Welcome to the Official website of The World Swing Dance Championships sponsored by 5678 Dance Studio.

The 2008 World Swing Dance Competition event will prove to be our best year ever. "5678 Dance" will be working in conjunction with "The Lindy and West Coast Swing Connection" to offer a wide range of events that will appeal to any Swing dance enthusiast. Contests include Jack & Jill, Young Adult, Masters, Juniors, Showcase Swing, Classic Swing, Lindy Swing, Strictly Swing, Formation Teams, Lindy vs. WC Swing, and Cabaret. Plus demonstrations from 2007's "So You Think You Can Dance" champions Benji Schwimmer and Heidi Groskreutz.

Our mission has been to expand the education and experience of its participants through quality workshops and fun competition. This year's event will definitely meet our mission expectations. The World Swing Dance Championship will be held at the Irvine Marriott Hotel Sept. 12th-14th, 2008.
